Easy Weight Loss: Is It Really Possible?
Jun 4th, 2011 | By Todd Bowman | Category: Lose Weight
For some people getting rid of fat is easy. Weight loss for other people is really a struggle.
I see this all the time. People get fixated on body fat percentages and weight when they should focus more on inches and size. Muscle weighs more than fat and not only that it helps to burn fat at any given point in the day. But it also sits and hangs on the body much differently than fat does.
That’s why it’s possible to lose 10 pounds of fat and put on 15 pounds of muscle (that’s a 25lb difference!) and look better than if the person ONLY lose 10 lbs of fat. The muscle gives your body good proportion. It allows you to fit into your skinny jeans and fill them out in just the right places.
So don’t just focus on fat loss, focus on really building muscle. Replace that lipid fat with strong healthy and perky muscles. It’s great for your metabolism too.
Everyone wishes they could lose 10 pounds or even 50 pounds, but it is unfair how some people can lose weight so easily while others struggle with losing just a few founds for long periods of time. If you are like most people who struggle with losing weight and keeping it off there are things you can do to make weight loss easier.

There is no magical pill for easy weight loss, though there are plenty of claims. You’ve seen them out there, promising the world but delivering nothing but the wind. But there are a few things that you can do on top of your diet that will dramatically improve how you are doing in your weight loss goals. You need to make sure that not only are you eating a healthy and balanced diet, but that you have enough exercise and drink plenty of water. Sounds simple but it’s really that easy. Sometimes one person in a thousand may have have thyroid problems but that’s pretty rare.
If you simply adopt a handful of principles into your current program, you can start seeing really great results. It doesn’t take much.
Eat More Food
Eating a healthy diet is a no brainer, but we always hear that term balanced diet. Eating healthy foods is great, but if you aren’t balancing those healthy foods you may be neglecting certain parts of your diet that may play an important role in your weight loss. Changing your diet is one of the easiest things you can do to lose weight. Use my diet as your guide. Don’t eat only fruits, or vegetables, but make sure you get everything that you need and the right amounts. Avoid sugars of all types and anything made with flour, wheat, and dairy. If you are exercising you won’t need to limit the amount of calories that you are eating, but possibly raise them! Your activity level should dictate how much you do eat.
Also make sure to get organic food as it contains more minerals. Minerals are with your body is really craving, the food or “bulk” is there just to satisfy us. Minerals are what your body runs on. Eat more organic fruits and vegetables, preferably in their raw uncooked state.
Get Moving
Any exercise is better than no exercise. But you do need to be exercising at least 30 minutes a day. This is because your body uses what you have eaten most recently first to fuel your workout.
If you only exercise for 10 minutes you may notice some weight loss, but not a lot. This is because your body isn’t using your fat stores to fuel your workouts, but your previous meal. To get rid of the fat you need to burn away the previous meals calories first and exercise long afterward to burn fat. If you are unable to exercise for 30 minutes start with 10 minutes and every week increase the time you spend by 5 minutes and work your way up to 30 minutes. Try to get in all forms of exercise such as strength training, stretching (hot yoga like Bikram is great) on top of cardio.
One of my recent favorite exercises is rebounding. It helps to create bone density (great for people with osteoporosis) and cleans the lymphatic system (the only exercise on earth that cleans this) and burns calories while absorbing almost 90% of the impact on the joints and tendons.
Stay Hydrated
It seems like a no brainer, but it is important to drink water. Most people think they need to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day, but what does that mean? Every cup is a different size, so how much do you need to drink? Water depends on how much you weigh, times your weight by 2/3 and you will get how many ounces you need to drink daily. If you’re eating lots of water rich fruits and vegetables, your water intake can be much less. Also if you’re drinking high quality structured spring water (from an actual spring) you’ll need less as well. This type of water contains ormus and other elements in such small particles it actually is wetter water, thus it hydrates you more. Spring water is critical to help detoxify your system.
Water improves your kidney function. Your kidneys are responsible for filtering toxins out of fluids and if you have a buildup of toxins your body has a hard time burning fat. Also water improves your liver function. Your liver is responsible for metabolizing fat (along with many other things), and if you don’t have enough water your body has a hard time metabolizing fat and makes losing weight harder.
Every cellular function in the body requires water. I like to juice vegetables and make green juices with one green apple for flavor. This water is structured and has the right ph and is highly mineralized.
