I like to use a bar; stick or pole, behind my head resting on my shoulders and that gives me a good stretch and twist. Torso twists are great because they really work your side oblique muscles where fat and lovehandles tend to store on both men and women. For amazing results I like to do 3 sets of 10 reps with about 30 seconds of rest in between sets.
