Learn How To Make A Healthy Salad Dressing

Are you always buying salad dressings in the supermarket and assume each one of them is a healthy salad dressing?
Salad dressings in supermarkets are bad because of canola oil, they contain sugars and other oils that are worse. If they’re low calorie salad dressings, then they may have artificial sweeteners.
Be REALLY careful about ingesting any form of sweeteners and even more so, artificial sweeteners. These foods will ruin your metabolism and cause a white blood cell immune response in the body, especially if it’s high fructose corn syrup. HFCS has been genetically modified and is really poison and the body treats it as foreign.
In this video, Isabel from the TheDietSolution.com helps us come up with a salad dressing that’s very healthy for you. The main ingredient is Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar. Vinegar helps to restore stomach acids which are made up of hydrogen and chloride (HCL). Sometimes it’s referred to as hydrochloric acid acid. Without enough stomach acid we will lose our hair (or it will thin), we’ll be more prone to bacteria and viruses, we won’t be able to begin the first process of digestion which is breaking the food down in order to enter the intestines.
In addition to all that, if we don’t have enough hydrochloric acid in our stomach we’ll get acid reflux syndrome. It’s not really a syndrome as much as it is eating the wrong foods that deplete stomach acid. The stomach acid actually communicates to the esophageal sphincter (not your pyloric sphincter) to close. If there’s not enough acid this sphincter doesn’t shut all the way, thus you feel heart burn and start popping Tums or Rolaids which over time decrease stomach acid even further.
Can you see the cycle here? Perhaps they WANT you to keep taking their “anti-acid tablets”
Here are the steps to create this salad dressing that everyone’s very happy about.
- one teaspoon of mustard yellow mustard.
- Put a little bit of garlic powder.
- put some salt
- put apple cider vinegar
- extra virgin olive oil
- put some raw parmesan cheese
- Shake and voila!
If you want, you can modify the steps above or the amount you use depending on how you want it and still make a healthy salad dressing.
The benefits of making your own salad dressing are huge. The first benefit is cost, when you make it yourself you’ll be saving hundreds of dollars per year. Imagine if you did that with a handful of other store bought items? The savings can really add up.
The other benefit is simply health. You control what goes into your salad dressing. You control the ingredients 100%. You’re not getting non organic items or chemicals.
Another benefit is the idea of working with food. Real food and real health takes time. You have to work and spend time in the kitchen and at the gym. Real health is earned, not given to you by genetics.
