Not knowing your particular situation, the fact that your chest is numb after a year is probably very much related to not being able to develop muscles in your chest fibers. 

I don&#039;t think that you&#039;re not going to develop your chest ever. I think that once you crack the code on why it&#039;s still numb and figure that out, you&#039;ll be able to develop your chest. 

Your chest should not be numb after that much recovery time. I will say though that I knew a guy who had the same situation as you and it took about a year and a half for his numbness to subside. Not sure why that is. 

Good luck and make sure you&#039;re doing the exercises correctly (which I&#039;m sure you are).
