Do you want tips to lose belly fat? According to the poll on the right side of this website, that seems to be the #1 thing my readers want to change in their body. You guys seem to hate that gut of your hanging down. I have my own set of challenges I’m working on, on my body but having a flabby stomach fortunately isn’t one of them. :)

In this dymanic video bodybuilder Vince Delmonte author of No Nonsense Muscle Building and lots of other hugely popular books, pinpoints the problems for your obesity and tells you exactly what to do about them.

Be honest now, is your diet healthy? Do you like your beer too much? Do you have too much stress in your life? Is your caloric intake too high? These are some of the factors that contribute to belly fat.

Not only that but knowing how these foods affect our weight and start making us tip the scale really helps to come up with a motivating strategy to mitigate destructive habits we fall into each day. Remember it’s our habits that we want to change. The change in phsyciology and appearance will come, it’s our habits that need to change first.

I like to think of a ship sailing across the ocean starting from California. All you have to do is change it’s course by 1 degree and by the time it reaches the continent of Asia, it’s thousands of miles away from it’s original end point.

You see, time and distance are what matters. Not making huge changes rapidly. Make subtle sustainable changes to your daily routine that you enjoy and stick with them for 6 months. Pretty soon you’ll be a totally different person. Once you get used to making these lifestyle changes, you can start adding more of them in. It becomes like a snowball effect. It grows and grows.

For example, after two years you may have implemented 10 new daily health practices and removed 10 unhealthy habits. That’s a 20 item difference over 2 years. Friends who haven’t seen you since then won’t even recognize you.

And since you add these new habits in slowly and gradually, they’re something you can actually enjoy and do. No sudden changes, no shock to the system, no detox and hating your life and these new habits. They’re easy.

I got all of these cutting edge strategies from Vince’s book No Nonsense Muscle Building. Stack the odds in your favor. Set up your life for success and it happens automatically. You don’t even have to try.

Here are some examples in terms of losing weight around your midsection.

  • Combine your food properly
  • Eat food at the right times
  • Take enzymes with each meal
  • Consume systemic enzymed (reduces microscopic inflammation and tears to muscle tissue allowing you to recover FAST)
  • Drink green juice instead of beer

These are just some new health practices you can start implementing to get that sexy stomach and six pack you really want.

Although Delmonte’s program is all about tips to lose belly fat, it doesn’t involve any of the things people tell you about. It doesn’t include ab machines, ab rollers, diet pills, or elliptical machines.

I think you’ll really like his program. It’s really motivating and gives you a lot of hope for change in your body and life.

You aren’t going from A to Z in one week. You’re going from A to B to C to D. That’s how you get to the end goal. Inch by inch. Yard to yard. Apply one new techinque each week and measure the results. If it works keep it, if it doesn’t you need to introduce something else.

The most common mistake people make is trying to do an outrageous amount of cardio. The problem with cardio is there is no after burn affect. When you leave the gym your cardio stops burning. The more cardio you do the more efficient you become at it.

When you lift weights, the muscle you build actually burns more calories even when you’re not working out or lifting weights. That’s called leverage. Leverage your time at the gym to work for you even when you’re sitting on the couch watching TV. That’s called stacking the odds in your favor.

Excessive cardio strips excessive muscle off your body. And Vince Delmonte asks the question, “What is muscle responsible for?” His answer? Muscle is responsible for jacking up your metabolism, keeping it elevated all day long. It’s your fat burning machine.

Girls get scared and don’t want to bulk up. Believe me, they’d have to train like a champion bodybuilder to look like those gals. Women in particular need to stop believing the myth that they shouldn’t pick up weights and build muscle mass. As long as it’s not done in excess most men think a toned and fit women is more sexy than an ultra skinny girl with no meat on her bones.

So one of Vince’s tips to lose belly fat is to get more muscle in your body. How? Not with cardio. You need to incorporate high intensity resistence training using compound exercises and free weights like dubmbells and barbells. Other programs focus on strength, which may be fantastic. But they also neglect speed, conditioning, and force.

Another element of losing belly fact is interval training. An alternative is hard tempo training.

So what are Vince Delmonte’s tips to lose belly fat? They are simple: Take one or two pieces of advice and apply in a step-by step fashion. If you throw everything in at once, you aren’t going to be able to monitor the effects of what you’ve been doing. Basically, you want to make sure you’re aware of what’s contributing to your success.
